Check out what our parents have to say about our school…
Our son, Sam, has truly thrived during his time at Alef Bet. The nurturing, welcoming, and patient morahs have helped him mature socially, enabled him to become more independent, and taught him more than we could have imagined about Judaism and the world around him.

Alef Bet has provided both of our girls with the most positive introduction to a school environment we could have hoped for. Each Morah goes above and beyond to make their classroom a warm and nurturing place where children are excited to learn and are proud of their accomplishments. The best evidence of this is not just in the beautiful projects they bring home, but when they play “school” at home. When we really listen to what they are saying and watch their very deliberate actions, we hear the exact words that their Morahs use every day to teach them to be kind and help one another. We see the structure and routines they learned to follow. We hear the songs and the lessons they are learning. We even see them conduct circle time and daven. It’s truly amazing to watch.

Piper started class Alef this fall and absolutely loves it. It has been the perfect first school experience for her. Her Morah’s are so loving and caring towards her and all the kids in her class. She comes home singing new songs almost daily. She talks about the kids in her class, the activities she does and how much fun she has playing in the gym. We have been very happy with how much she is learning through school and about our Jewish customs and holidays. We are so happy that piper has made friends in the neighborhood and community through her schooling experience.

The frequent communication between teachers and parents allows me to know how my children are doing in class socially and academically. The Morahs are extremely loving and nurturing to all of the children in the class. They also help create a strong bond between the children. They not only facilitate a deep and enriching curriculum, but also teach kindness, manners and good values. The families at Alef Bet are kind, open and come from all different levels of religious background. With so many opportunities to be part of your child’s education, the school provides a place for every family to feel welcome and valued. I think the curriculum is the perfect mix between play-based and academic activities. My child has plenty of time to be creative, explore through play and socialize with other students.

We have been so happy with the school and Mika’s social and educational development. The teachers have been incredible and are fundamental to the children’s passion and excitement in coming to school every day. The art projects, recycling awareness, weekly library visits, and Shabbat parties are only a few of Mika’s weekly highlights at school. In addition to Mika’s love for the school, her teachers and of course her friends, I enjoy the parent involvement in this warm community. I thoroughly enjoy being on the PTA and working with the school and other parents on fun initiatives and projects at school.
